Double-wall steel keeps it hot. The body is two layers of 304 stainless steel, so your coffee stays hot through a second cup and the outside of the press stays comfortable to hold while you pour.
No glass to break. There's no carafe to crack, which makes it a good press for camping, the office, or a kitchen where things get knocked over now and then.
How to brew. Use a coarse grind and about 1 gram of coffee for every 15 grams of water, pour just off the boil, and let it steep for four minutes. Press slowly, then pour all of it out once it's done so it doesn't keep brewing and turn bitter.
Holds 800 ml (about 27 oz), enough for three or four mugs. Comes in brushed steel or matte black, and it works for loose-leaf tea and cold brew too.
